Gaston Bolanos vs Quang Le prediction
Gaston Bolanos (8-4) returns to action looking to win back-to-back fights in the UFC for the first time. He picked up a unanimous decision against Cortavious Romious last November at UFC Fight Night 247 and he will be hoping to improve on his 2-1 record since he joined the promotion.
He takes on Quang Le (8-2) who is searching for his first victory in the Octagon at the third time of asking. After starting his professional MMA career with eight consecutive wins, he earned his shot in the UFC but has lost his first two bouts.
His first setback came against Chris Gutierrez last August by unanimous decision and then he suffered a knockout loss to Long Xiao in November. He returns to action here in desperate need of a win to bolster his confidence.
Both of these fighters have built their resumes outside of the UFC but there is more to like about Bolanos’ time in the UFC than Quang Le’s. he has a couple of wins under his belt and has found ways to win in challenging fights.
This is something of a pick’em fight but our preference has to lean towards Bolanos who we have more faith in due to his ability to grind it out and find a way to win.
Prediction: Gaston Bolanos to win
