Montel Jackson vs Daniel Marcos prediction

Montel Jackson (14-2) returns to action on Saturday night riding a five-fight winning streak and he comes off successive first-round knockout victories. Both wins have earned him Performance of the Night bonuses and his 18-second win over Da’Mon Blackshear last July was particularly impressive.

His confidence is sky high coming into this fight but he has been handed another incredibly tough test as he meets Peruvian Daniel Marcos.

Marcos (17-0 with one no contest) earned his shot in the UFC after winning in Dana White's Contender Series in September 2022. He has not wasted any time since then having won four fights along with one no contest.

Eight of his wins have come by knockout and nine via the judges’ scorecards as he has proved to be dominant on his feet or on the mat.

It will be fascinating to see who can get the better of the striking. It is very hard to go against Marcos who has never tasted defeat and may still have levels yet to rise. However, Jackson has pedigree and experience on his side having fought in the UFC since 2018 and we marginally favour him to get the victory.

Prediction: Montel Jackson to win
