Perfect outside of a split decision loss in her MMA debut, Alivia Bierly (5-1) turned her back on the corporate world to pursue MMA, a decision vindicated by an unbeaten amateur career and a solid start to life in the pro ranks. A well-rounded threat who leans on her physicality and athleticism to dominate in the cage, “Yum Yum” is riding a hot streak as of late, with both of her most recent victories coming by way of KO. With that being said, she’s fought pretty mediocre levels of competition to date.

Unbeaten across six fights as a pro, FCC bantamweight champion, Summer Onley (6-0) touches down on the Contender Series in the hopes of securing a UFC contract. Turning pro after a solid amateur career where she went 7-1, Onley has gained a reputation as a dangerous finisher on the British regional circuit, with five stoppages coming by way of KO. At 32, she's a relatively late starter in the game, having only begun training in MMA back in 2016, but she's taken to the sport like a duck to water.

We're going with Onley to take home a UFC contract in the main event of Week 9.

The Englishwoman looks to be a really solid prospect. She was an excellent amateur, earning wins over some of the best girls in the country, and has carried that form into her professional career. "Ice Cold" has fought and finished some really solid fighters on the English regional circuit; a state of affairs made all the more impressive by the fact that they consistently had more experience than her.

Bierly has looked good throughout her career to date, but her strength of schedule pales in comparison to Onley's; case in point, while Fury FC is a decent regional level American promotion, she's only ever beaten an opponent with a winning record on one occasion. Not only is she facing a woman who can match her for physicality and athleticism, but Onley looks to be the much more potent finisher of the two.

I think that Onley either pours on the damage to find a TKO somewhere in the first two rounds or consistently outdamages Bierly across three to take the decision in an entertaining scrap. In any case, I believe it will be "Ice Cold" who has her hand raised when all is said and done.
