This West London Derby is a huge opportunity for Brentford to make UEFA Champions League football even more of a reality as they take on Fulham this weekend.

Brentford preview: Buzzing Bees

Brentford come into this one on the back of a predictably entertaining 2-2 draw with Everton last weekend, having taken the lead twice against the Toffees before having to settle for a point at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees began the season under a cloud after a very busy summer transfer window and the pressure was on Keith Andrews but the Irishman has put him in the frame to be the Manager of the Season in the Premier League.

Fulham preview: Frustrated Fulham

There is a feeling that Marco Silva may depart Fulham this summer with the Portuguese coach once again overseeing a mid-table finish and, perhaps, some stagnation at Craven Cottage after a difficult run of form.

Up against a poor and under pressure Liverpool side at Anfield last weekend, Fulham succumbed to a 2-0 loss to the Reds due to first-half strikes from Rio Ngumoha and Mohamed Salah on Merseyside.

Brentford team news: Nothing new

In his pre-match press conference, Brentford boss Keith Andrews has confirmed there are no fresh injury concerns for the Bees ahead of the visit of Fulham.

Denmark international attacking midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard has returned to full fitness after being replaced at half-time last week, while Aaron Hickey is also fit.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Kelleher; Kayode, Ajer, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Jensen, Yarmolyuk; Ouattara, Damsgaard, Schade; Thiago

Unavailable: Henry (Injured), Milambo (Injured), Dasilva (Fitness), Henderson (Injured), Janelt (Injured), Carvalho (Injured), Furo (Injured)

Questionable:

Fulham team news: Reed in contention

Marco Silva has confirmed that the situation of the squad is quite similar for last weekend as the Cottagers make the short trip to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Harrison Reed is in contention and could be available for this one, while right-back Kenny Tete is sidelined alongside club-record signing Kevin.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez

Unavailable: Tete (Injured), Kevin (Injured)

Questionable: Reed (Injured)

Brentford vs Fulham prediction

Fulham remain an entertaining watch and will believe they can create enough to test a potentially nervy Brentford side. This game has produced a fair few goals of late with 25 goals in the seven games they have played since both were in the Premier League together - with a goalless draw bringing that average down. As a result, a high-scoring affair should be backed for this one in the capital city at lunchtime on Saturday.

Brentford vs Fulham tip: Over 2.5 goals
