Having defeated Shamrock Rovers by two goals to nil in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie, Floriana were annihilated in the second-leg, losing by five goals to one against the Irish champions in Dublin.

Drita Gjilan have themselves also been left frustrated by their opening tie in UEFA competition this season. After a 1-1 draw with Kauno Zalgiris, the Lithuanian champions then defeated Drita after extra-time in the second-leg.

Drita reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and they will be expected to be competitive here with both teams scoring seeming a decent bet for this first-leg in Malta.
