Vardar vs Riga prediction
In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, Vardar had a very good opportunity to knock Kuopion Palloseura out but they succumbed to a defeat after extra-time in the second-leg in Finland last week.
Latvian champions Riga are in a tussle with Rigas Futbola Skola at the top of the Latvian Higher League domestically. They, too, won their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round second-leg, winning 3-2 against Ararat-Armenia but succumbing to a 4-3 aggregate loss.
Riga will be reliant on their home advantage, while Vardar will simply be trying to keep the tie alive for as long as possible and so a low-scoring encounter seems a decent bet for this one in Skopje in North Macedonia.
