Tromso come into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering of HamKam, after a 4-0 defeat of Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien at the weekend. That leaves them sitting just a point clear of Viking sitting at the top-of-the-table domestically after 15 of their 30 matches.
Hradec Kralove are playing in just their third ever European campaign, having previously played in the 1960-61 European Cup and the 1995-96 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. They finished fourth in the Czech top-flight last season, though, to mean that they are now in the UEFA Europa League.
Playing in Tromso will be tough for any team and Hradec Kralove’s lack of European pedigree and experience is expected to count against them in this first-leg.
