Spartak Trnava finished third in the Slovak First League last season. Antonio Munoz’ side reached the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season before being beaten by eventual Romanian champions Universitatea Craiova.
CSKA 1948 managed to finish above Ludogorets Razgrad last season, finishing as runners-up to Levski Sofia in the Bulgarian top-flight. This is just their fourth European tie, having previously been beaten by FCSB and Pafos with their one victory coming against Buducnost Podgorica.
CSKA 1948 have struggled away from home in European competition and so siding with Spartak Trnava for this first-leg in Slovakia would appear a decent bet for this one.
