Egnatia overcame Moldovan champions Petrocub Hincesti with ease in the first qualifying round earlier this month. They shared a 1-1 draw away from home in the first-leg, when down to ten men, before winning the second-leg by six goals to one to reach this stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time ever.
Despite the departure of manager Albert Riera to Eintracht Frankfurt mid-way through last season, Celje held on to win the Slovenian top-flight. They also reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League after getting to the quarter-finals of that competition the season before under Riera.
Vitor Campelos is expected to continue the impressive performances of Celje in Europe, playing a proactive style which means both teams scoring seems a decent bet for this one in Albania in the first-leg.
