Mjallby have been blessed by the draw here because a victory against the Gibraltarians would ensure they would be guaranteed of at least the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The Swedes are winless in six matches in the Swedish Allsvenskan as they sit in the bottom-half of the table domestically.
The Lincoln Red Imps’ pedigree in UEFA competition has steadily grown over the last half a decade or so. They overcame Andorran champions Inter Club d’Escaldes in the first qualifying round after winning the first-leg 3-1 in Gibraltar before sharing a 1-1 draw against an Inter side that have been excellent at home in Europe.
Mjallby have to remain favourites with their home advantage but they have been unconvincing and so both teams scoring seems a decent bet.
