Angers vs Nice prediction

Having lost Alexandre Dujeux and replaced him with former Paris FC boss Stephane Gilli over the summer, Angers have won just two of their nine matches so far this season. The home team come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Olympique Lyonnais last week due to goals in either half scored by Ernest Nuamah and Corentin Tolisso.

Following the appointment of Claude Puel, the neglected Nice, who avoided relegation in the play-off last season, are kicking on this time around. The southerners impressively hammered Stade Rennais by five goals to two last weekend to lift themselves into the top half of the table.

Nice have now enjoyed four wins in five matches since the arrival of Puel, having been winless in their opening four matches, and they should again be sided with here.

Angers vs Nice tip: Double chance – Nice to win or draw
