Espanyol vs Deportivo La Coruna prediction

Manolo Gonzalez was sacked after Espanyol lost a Copa del Rey first round tie against fourth-tier Sestao. His replacement, Eder Sarabia, remains banned and so interim coach Sergio Garcia oversaw the Catalans’ shock 1-0 defeat of Villarreal at El Madrigal last week with a second half winner scored by defender Leandro Cabrera.

Following their promotion back to La Liga last season, Deportivo La Coruna have been impressive but they had endured a six-match winless run of form before coming from behind to defeat Osasuna by two goals to one at Riazor in Galicia last week, courtesy of Mario Soriano and Bil Nsongo.

Depor have been competitive throughout the campaign but they were perhaps fortunate in that one and siding with the bizarrely now resurgent Espanyol could be good value here.

Espanyol vs Deportivo La Coruna tip: Double chance – Espanyol to win or draw
