Despite losing Kim Hellberg to Middlesbrough in their off-season, Hammarby have remained strong in Sweden, sitting second in the table but nine points behind unbeaten Sirius at the top-of-the-table. Hammarby were knocked out by Rosenborg in the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round last season.
Coached by Vitor Bruno, Anderlecht finished fourth in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, finishing behind Club Brugge, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Sint-Truiden. The Brussels-based giants failed to reach the league phase of a UEFA competition last season.
