Hajduk Split vs Pafos prediction

In the first qualifying round, Hajduk Split lost their second-leg to Slovakian outfit MSK Zilina but they managed to progress on aggregate. The Croatians haven’t made it through qualifying in a UEFA competition since they reached the group stages of the UEFA Europa League in the 2010-11 campaign.

They now face a Pafos side that reached the league phase of the UEFA Champions League last season. The Cypriots have since relinquished their grip on a first ever Cypriot First Division title, though, finishing behind Omonia Nicosia but they did win the Cypriot Cup to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.

Pafos do still have big named peppered throughout their squad, such as David Luiz, Samy Mmaee, Derrick Luckassen, Domingos Quina, Ken Sema, Ivan Sunjic, Pepe and Anderso Silva but several have been away at FIFA World Cup 2026 – and so that could lead to a slow start so backing Hajduk, with home advantage in the first-leg, may well be the way to go for this one on Thursday night.

Hajduk Split vs Pafos tip: Double chance – Hajduk Split to win or draw
