Terrance McKinney (16-7) comes into this bout at UFC 317 in good form having won three of his last four fights and he comes off a TKO win over Damir Hadzovic. That came back in February in Riyadh and he faces a relatively quick turnaround by his standards as he only fought once in 2024.
He comes up against Viacheslav Borshchev (8-5-1) who is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Tom Nolan at UFC 312 in February also. Borshchev’s form in recent years has been average to say the least with only two wins in his last seven fights. He will feel under some pressure here to get a win.
Not a single one of McKinney’s 23 professional MMA fights have gone the distance and with Borshchev being equally as aggressive, that should make for an entertaining fight here. We favour McKinney but both fighters are fragile and we are leaning towards this one not going the distance.
