Priscila Cachoeira: In desperate need of a win
Priscila Cachoeira (13-9) is in desperate need of a win, having lost her last three fights in the UFC and five of her last six.
The 38-year-old Brazilian has suffered defeats in all kinds of manners during that run, being submitted twice, knocked out once and beaten on the scorecards. In the twilight of her career, the veteran badly needs to turn things around.
Nina Nikolija Milosevic: Unbeaten in nine and coming off a stunning UFC debut
Nina Nikolija Milosevic (9-1), nicknamed ‘Queen Beast’, is coming off a win on her UFC debut, knocking out Hailey Cowan in the first round at UFC Belgrade in August.
She had been on an eight-fight winning streak before that bout to earn her shot at the big time, and she backed it up with a fantastic performance, with body shots bringing Cowan’s night to an end.
Priscila Cachoeira vs Nina Nikolija Milosevic prediction
The pressure is firmly on Cachoeira to halt her miserable recent run in the UFC, and that will not be easy against the up-and-coming Milosevic.
Milosevic showed her prowess on her UFC debut with a first-round stoppage, and she will fancy her chances against an experienced but declining opponent.
The Brazilian will be hoping to rekindle some of her former glories, but Milosevic has won nine straight fights since losing her first professional MMA bout and is clearly a fighter on the up.
Milosevic has power and a good set of submission skills, and we expect the Serbian to stop Cachoeira one way or another.
Prediction: Nina Nikolija Milosevic to win by KO/TKO
