Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani: Contender Series graduate chasing a seventh straight win
2-0 in the UFC since earning a contract with a highlight reel KO on the Contender Series in 2025, Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani (11-2) looks like a solid addition to the middleweight ranks. A grappler by trade, the American has an impressive array of submissions to his name and has rapidly improved his standup game as his career has progressed. “Mufasa” is still waiting for his first UFC finish, but has scored back-to-back decision victories over Phil Rowe and Seok Hyeon Ko to produce a solid start to life in the promotion.
Farman Hasanov: Azerbaijani fighter looking to extend unbeaten record
Undefeated across five fights as a professional, Farman Hasanov (5-0) debuted with a dominant showing over Eric Nolan in June, racking up 17 takedowns en route to a decision victory. Fighting out of American Top Team, the Azerbaijan native cut his teeth in LFA prior to making the jump to the UFC, going 3-0 with two finishes. As his victory over Nolan would suggest, Hasanov is a wrestler first and foremost, leaning on excellent takedowns and chain wrestling to ground his opponents and hammer away with heavy GNP.
Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs Farman Hasanov prediction
Two relative newcomers to the UFC collide on Saturday night in a really intriguing fight. Credit to both fighters for making it onto a main card so early in their UFC careers, but both have shown they are more than capable of stepping up to this level.
Lebosnoyani has the greater experience, and that could very well count for something in this fight. He has good potential and has been pretty impressive in his first two fights in the organisation.
He has knockout power and a good set of submission skills, and we feel he has more ways to win this fight than Hasanov. He will have to be wary of Hasanov’s power, but there is a lot to like about Lebosnoyani, and for that reason he is our pick to get the win.
Prediction: Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani to win
