Julian Erosa: Volatile veteran looking to avoid a third straight loss

Julian Erosa (31-13) returns to the Octagon having lost his last two fights and four of his last seven, so the 37-year-old will be desperate to get back to winning ways in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

The UFC veteran continues to be highly entertaining, but he has proven just as likely to be knocked out as he is to knock out his opponent, which is what makes his fights so volatile, if good to watch.

He was knocked out in the first round of his last fight by Lerryan Douglas back in March, and he will be eager to avoid losing a third successive fight.

Lee Jeong-yeong: Korean Tiger returns after 17 months out

Lee Jeong-yeong (11-3) is also coming into this bout on the back of two successive losses, and he has not fought in the Octagon since UFC 315 back in May 2025.

The Korean Tiger’s activity levels have been pretty limited in recent years, with only six fights in the last seven years, so it will be interesting to see what condition he comes in and whether there is any rust in his skill set.

Julian Erosa vs Lee Jeong-yeong prediction

There will surely be fireworks in this featherweight bout between Julian Erosa and Lee Jeong-yeong.

It is the Korean who comes in as the favourite, but Erosa is as dangerous as ever, even at the age of 37, and he possesses some serious knockout power.

Lee has only been knocked out once in his career, but he has not faced many fighters with the punching power of Erosa. He possesses reasonable power himself, but whether that will be enough to expose Erosa’s increasingly fragile chin remains to be seen.

It is hard to see this one going the distance given Erosa’s recent record. It is really difficult to judge who will win this fight, and we are being very cautious about picking the outcome, so our pick is on the fight not going the distance. Don’t expect this one to go to the judges’ scorecards.

Prediction: Fight not to go the distance
