Keiichiro Nakamura: Unbeaten in eight with seven knockouts

Keiichiro Nakamura (8-1) is on an eight-fight winning streak, and seven of those wins have come via knockout.

The 27-year-old Japanese featherweight has had no issues stepping up to UFC level. After winning Road to UFC Season 4, he got his UFC career off to a flying start by stopping Sebastian Szalay with a third-round TKO at UFC 325 in January.

Nakamura is a hugely exciting fighter, and he will be looking to continue making his mark in the featherweight division.

Ollie Schmid: Seeking a first Octagon win after debut defeat

Ollie Schmid (4-3), nicknamed ‘The Hungarian Stallion’, lost on his UFC debut last time out, when he was stopped by Marwan Rahiki in the first round in May.

That will have been something of a blow for the kickboxer, but his fights continue to be hugely entertaining, and he will be hoping to get back to winning ways and register his first victory in the Octagon.

Keiichiro Nakamura vs Ollie Schmid prediction

Nakamura and Schmid all but guarantee fireworks, and that makes this a serious Fight of the Night contender. Both men have serious knockout power, and it is hard to see this one going the distance.

Nakamura has yet to suffer a knockout defeat, while his opponent has been stopped twice, including on his UFC debut in May.

For that reason, and given the vulnerability Schmid has shown, which we have not yet seen from Nakamura, we have to lean towards the Japanese fighter to get the win.

Prediction: Keiichiro Nakamura to win by KO/TKO
