Christopher Ewert vs Jackson McVey prediction
Christopher Ewert (7-0) gets his chance in the UFC after winning all seven of his professional MMA bouts in his relatively short career. The Chilean 31-year-old has picked up five knockouts since his debut in December 2022 and it will be interesting to see if he can translate that power into the UFC.
‘El Tanke’ gets his shot in the big time against a fellow newcomer as he faces 26-year-old American Jackson McVey (6-0). Similar to Ewert, he has an impressive track record of stopping people with three knockouts and three submissions.
It will be interesting to see how both fighters approach this bout and whether they stick to their aggressive styles which has earned them this shot. With plenty of adrenaline expected, we fully expect this one not to go the distance and that is our play in this one.
Prediction: Fight will not go the distance
