Philip Rowe vs Ange Loosa prediction

Philip Rowe (10-5) returns to action after a year hoping to get back on track after losing his last two fights. He was on the wrong end of a couple of decisions against Neil Magny in June 2023 and then Jake Matthews in June last year, so he will be looking to get back to winning ways with a win here.

He takes on Congo DR powerhouse Ange Loosa (10-4 with one no contest) who had a no contest with Bryan Battle in Marh 2024 due to an accidental eyre poke and then lost a decision against Gabriel Bonfim in July last year. He will be hoping to get back in the win column and he will relish coming up against a fighter who will likely trade with him.

Both men have struggled against wrestlers and the majority of their losses have come on the scorecards when they have been frustrated. That is unlikely to be the case here as both men will surely prefer to stand and trade.

We marginally edge the more well-rounded Rowe here but it really could come down to who connects flush first. For that reason, our play is on this one not going the distance.

Prediction: Fight will not go the distance
