Gabriel Green vs Matheus Camilo prediction

Gabriel Green (11-5) is coming off successive losses and in his last appearance in the Octagon which was just over two years ago, he suffered a 14-second knockout loss to Bryan Battle.

Green has taken time out with a bout in April 2024 falling through due to unknown reasons. The 32-year-old now returns and will be hoping that the time away will help him come back stronger as he looks to improve on his 2-3 record in the UFC.

He meets surging newcomer Matheus Camilo (9-2) who gets his chance after six successive wins. Those have come in lesser promotions but he has been incredibly active with this being his fifth fight in the last two years.

The 24-year-old looks capable of developing further and he will be fired up to make a statement on his UFC debut.

We like the chances for Camilo coming into this one. Green may have the experience of having fought in the UFC five times before but Camilo will not be overawed fighting at The Apex with its subdued atmosphere. Camilo is young and hungry and we do not like this matchup for the rusty Green.

Prediction: Matheus Camilo to win
