Davey Grant: Dangerous Davey looking for bounce back win at age of 40
England’s Davey Grant (15-8) is back in the Octagon at the ripe age of 40 and Dangerous will be looking to bounce back from a loss last time out. He was submitted by the talented Charles Jourdain last October but he had won four of his previous five bouts before that so he has been winning fights despite his advancing years. This will be another test for him as he faces an up and coming talent in Martinetti.
Adrian Luna Martinetti: Ecuadorian Contender star aiming to impress on UFC debut
After almost a decade of fighting on the regional circuits, 30-year-old Adrian Luna Martinetti (17-1) has earned his shot in the big time. After winning via Dana White’s Contender Series, Martinetti now faces his biggest challenge but he brings a 15-fight win streak into this one. As is always the case, it is so hard to judge a record outside of the UFC as the quality of opponent is often questionable, so it will be interesting to see how Martinetti fares on debut.

We have a UFC vet in Davey Grant coming up against a newcomer at the Apex on Saturday night as he faces off against Adrian Luna Martinetti.
The Ecuadorian has a highly impressive record but that will be put to the test on Saturday night. He is facing a really solid operator in Grant and Martinetti’s credentials will be tested.
As is always the case with newcomers, there is every chance that nerves will be on show for Martinetti and that could pose a fair threat to him. He has plenty of fights under his belt but it will be different on Saturday night albeit in the low atmosphere at the Apex.
We like Grant in this one. He is so experienced and has still been fighting at a solid level in the last few years. We fancy his chances of making this a difficult debut for the Ecuadorian.
