Max Griffin vs Chris Curtis prediction

Max Griffin (20-11) will be hoping to bounce back from a loss last time out after Michael Chiesa submitted him at UFC 310 in December. That was the 11th loss of his professional MMA career for the 39-year-old but he will think he can get back to winning ways here.

He faces another UFC veteran in Chris Curtis (31-12 with one no contest) who is just two years younger than Griffin but has had 13 more fights.

It has been a tough run of late for Curtis but he has been fighting at a high level for some time now against some high-calibre opponents.

Despite losing four of his last seven, some of those losses have come against the likes of Brendan Allen, Kelvin Gastelum and Jack Hermansson of which there is no shame in.

He has picked up some outstanding wins during that time too though knocking out Joaquin Buckley in December 2022 and then edging a split decision over Marc-Andre Barriault in January 2024.

While his record may not make great reading, he has been fighting at a much higher level than Griffin and we expect him to snap this two-fight losing streak and return to the winners column on Saturday night.

Prediction: Chris Curtis to win
