Junior Tafa vs Tuco Tokkos prediction

Junior Tafa (6-3) got back to winning ways last time after back-to-back losses prior to that. He TKO’d Sean Sharaf in October 2024 which was a welcome return to form after he was TKO’d by Marcos Rogerio de Lima and submitted by Valker Walker before that win. His record in the UFC is 2-3 and he will be aiming to pick up successive wins for the first time in the Octagon.

Standing in his way is George Tokkos (10-5) who is in desperate need of a win himself. He has yet to win since joining the UFC and will aim to grab his first win at the third time of asking.

He was submitted by Oumar Sy last May and then lost a unanimous decision to Navajo Stirling in December. The Englishman will be desperately hoping he can reverse this and get a win under his belt after working so hard to earn his shot in the promotion.

This is a great fight that has been put together by the UFC matchmakers and there is pressure on both fighters. It is hard to see this one going to the scorecards and it really will be a case of who connects flush first. We marginally favour Tafa but with no real confidence and our play here is on the fight not go the distance.

Prediction: Fight will not go the distance
