Lauren Murphy (16-6) returns to action after two and a half years out and she announced a year ago that her next fight would be the final bout before retirement. At 41 years of age, that is no surprise but the UFC have handed her an incredibly tough farewell match if this is her final fight.
She takes on Brazilian Eduarda Moura (11-1) who carries the nickname Ronda due to the comparisons with UFC legend Ronda Rousey. Moura suffered the first loss of professional MMA career last June as a split decision went against her and in favour of Denise Gomes.
That is the only blemish on her CV as she rebounded nicely by picking up a unanimous decision win over Veronica Hardy last time out at UFC 309 in November.
Since Murphy's last fight, Moura has fought five times and won four of those. While Murphy has enjoyed the storied career, it is hard to see past this inactivity and her age and we cannot see anything other than a win for the Brazilian who is 10 years her junior.
