Fatima Kline vs Melissa Martinez prediction
Fatima Kline (7-1) returns to the Octagon following his first victory in the UFC so she will have some confidence coming into this one. After she lost on her debut - the first of her professional MMA career - against the tough Jasmine Jasudavicius in July last year, she TKO’d Victoria Dudakova in January to get her first win under her belt.
She comes up against Melissa Martinez (8-1) who has had a very similar career path to Kline. She lost her UFC debut back in September 2022 against Elise Reed but when she returned to action two years later she picked up her first victory via unanimous decision against Alice Ardelean.
That bout is her sole fight in almost three years and she would be forgiven for having a little bit of rust in her game right now. During that same time, Kline has fought on six occasions and she is clearly the fighter with momentum on her side.
With numerous factors on her side, we fully expect Kline to get a second successive win in the UFC here.
Prediction: Fatima Kline to win
