After he came off the bench to score in midweek, Diogo Jota has once again picked up a niggle for this weekend and he hasn't trained since so the Portugal international is a doubt for this one.
Luis Diaz missed training on Thursday due to illness, whilst Joe Gomez remains unavailable due to a hamstring injury but Uruguay international Darwin Nunez has returned from suspension.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Gakpo

Brentford vs Liverpool Prediction
In midweek, Brentford went 2-0 down to a seemingly resurgent Manchester City side at the Gtech Community Stadium but two late goals earned the west Londoners a point and they were arguably unfortunate not to pinch all three points. That result, whilst positive and needed, does mean they have now managed just two victories in their last ten matches across all competitions since December began. They now face a Liverpool side that pulled themselves back from a goal down at the City Ground to share a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest the other day. Arne Slot’s Reds remain at the top but have won just one of their last four matches in 2025 and they have drawn four of their last seven matches in the Premier League. Brentford, with their excellent home record, will fancy their chances of scoring at the Gtech but Liverpool will be keen they can exploit a leaky home defence.
