Crvena Zvezda vs Viktoria Plzen prediction

In the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, Crvena Zvezda annihilated Northern Irish champions Larne. They then, though, succumbed to a surprise 3-0 aggregate loss to Israeli champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the third qualifying round.

Viktoria Plzen come into this one on the back of beginning the Czech First League in indifferent form. After a defeat to Slovan Liberec on the opening day of the season, they then shared draws with Brno and Teplice, including a 5-5 thriller with the latter. Their first win came at the weekend with an unconvincing 3-2 win against Zlin.

Viktoria’s four matches so far this season have consisted of 21 goals and so both teams scoring seems a decent bet with Crvena Zvezda remaining favourites for this first-leg.

Crvena Zvezda vs Viktoria Plzen tip: Crvena Zvezda to win & both teams to score
