Real Madrid preview: Finding a way
Last week, Real Madrid went to in-form Roma at the Stadio Olimpico and found themselves 3-1 down with less than ten minutes to go before three goals from corners turned the game on its head and gave them a dramatic victory in Italy.
There are concerns that their results are papering over the cracks of poor performances but they did show improvement at the weekend as they hammered Sevilla by four goals to one to actually make it three wins from three since the international break.
RB Leipzig preview: Pressure on Demichelis
Former Real Mallorca boss Martin Demichelis was a surprise appointment made by RB Leipzig over the summer and the former Manchester City centre-back is now under a fair bit of pressure in Germany.
Leipzig head to Madrid on the back of a 6-1 demolition at the hands of Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena due to a hat-trick scored by Luis Diaz as well as goals from Aleksandar Pavlovic, Michael Olise and Harry Kane.
Real Madrid team news: Preparing for the Clasico

RB Leipzig team news: Nothing fresh
Christoph Baumgartner is working his way back to full fitness after a hamstring injury sustained just before the FIFA World Cup. Assan Ouedraogo remains sidelined alongside Marc Guiu.

Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig prediction
Real Madrid have been underwhelming pretty much throughout the campaign. The 15-time European champions have been getting results and there will be confidence taken from their rout of Sevilla the other day, too. Leipzig’s 6-1 demolition at the hands of Bayern comes in a season where they have already lost 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen, 4-1 to Como and 3-1 to Werder Bremen away from home already with their only positive result on the road against lower league outfit Trier in the DFB-Pokal, and so another comfortable Madrid victory is to be expected.
