Real Betis preview: Brilliant Betis
Real Betis made it back-to-back 3-2 victories to kick off the league phase of the UEFA Champions League last week, after winning by that scoreline in France against Lille last month, before doing the same against FC Porto in Seville last week.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have lost just two of their 11 matches across all competitions so far this season, both by five goals to two with the second of those coming against relentless La Liga leaders Barcelona at the weekend.
Feyenoord preview: Strong Feyenoord
Coached by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who led Rangers to the final of the UEFA Europa League in 2022 but is now back in Rotterdam, Feyenoord have started this season very well as they sit at the top-of-the-table in the Eredivisie.
In this competition, they too conceded five to Barca in a 5-1 loss at Camp Nou last month but they bounced back with an entertaining 3-2 defeat of Cesc Fabregas’ Como last week.
Real Betis team news: Nothing fresh
Betis have no fresh injury concerns for this one as Junior Firpo remains sidelined after the international break. Manuel Pellegrini has a decision to make up-front with Cucho Hernandez in good form and potentially pipping Troy Parrott to the starting berth.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Valles; Bellerin, Bartra, Natan, Garcia; Deossa, Bernal; Antony, Isco, Abde Ez; Cucho
Unavailable: Firpo (Injured), Ruibal (Fitness)

Feyenoord team news: A few injuries
Feyenoord head to Spain with a few confirmed absentees as Jordan Bos is working his way back to full fitness alongside Jakub Moder with both Reiss Nelson and Shaquille van Persie both still sidelined, too.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Ernst; Read, St. Juste, Marmol, Lopez; Zechiel, Vanhoutte, Targhalline; Hadj Moussa, Nacho, Valente
Unavailable: Beelen (Injured), Bos (Injured), Nieuwkoop (Injured), Moder (Injured), Nelson (Injured), Van Persie (Injured)

Real Betis vs Feyenoord prediction
Feyenoord defeated Telstar by four goals to three at the weekend and they have now won five on the bounce since losing to Barcelona, scoring 19 goals in the process. Real Betis were quite pragmatic in the opening few weeks of the season with three 1-0 victories in their opening four matches but their last nine games have consisted of 38 goals. As a result, this should be quite a fun watch for the neutral down in Andalusia.
Real Betis vs Feyenoord Tip: Over 2.5 goals
