Sporting CP preview: Strong Sporting
Sporting CP come into this one on the back of beginning their UEFA Champions League league phase campaign with back-to-back victories against Galatasaray and then Lens thus far.
Having come from behind to beat Galatasaray by three goals to one at Estadio Jose Alvalade last month, Sporting eased past Lens last week with strikes from Luis Suarez and then Issa Doumbia.
LASK preview: Putting up a fight
Having come from four down with an hour to go of their play-off against Celtic to reach the league phase in August, LASK continued to show their battling qualities in defeat to Liverpool last week.
The Austrians came from 6-1 down to earn a more respectable 6-3 defeat in a thriller in that one, once again showcasing a fairly chaotic side after they had started their league phase with a 1-0 loss to AEK Athens a few weeks ago.
Sporting CP team news: Debast out
Uruguay international midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar was ruled out for a few weeks ahead of their trip to Lens last week and he is now sidelined alongside versatile defender Zeno Debast.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Kaique; Fresneda, Quaresma, Inacio, Araujo; Simoes, Altimira; Catamo, Doumbia, Irankunda; Suarez
Unavailable: Debast (Injured), Zalazar (Injured)

LASK team news: Couple of absentees
Versatile American wing-back George Bello was ruled out of the game against Liverpool due to a muscular injury and their hero from the qualifiers, Moses Usor, is also sidelined due to a shoulder issue.
Predicted XI (3-4-3): Jungwirth; Mbuyamba, Tornich, Andrade; Jorgensen, Bogarde, Schopf, Dibango; Danek, Adeniran, Lang
Unavailable: Bello (Injured), Usor (Injured)
Questionable: Harakate (Injured)
Sporting CP vs LASK prediction
LASK have since gone on to hammer Austria Lustenau by four goals to nil to move themselves third in the Austrian Bundesliga. That was their first clean sheet since beating Rheindorf Altach a few days after their elimination of Celtic. Sporting themselves have a brilliant attack and a very good chance to make it three from three – something they will be confident of doing in the Portuguese capital city.
