Getafe have been as difficult to watch as ever from a neutral perspective as they face fellow Madrid outfit Rayo Vallecano at the Coliseum on Monday.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Premier Sports / USA – ESPN have the exclusive rights to La Liga games in the USA, so any game may be televised on one of their affiliated channels

How to watch online: UK – Premier Player / USA – ESPN+

Getafe preview: Draw in midweek

Getafe come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Romanian outfit Universitatea Craiova in the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League with Nemanja Gudelj equalising late on after Assad Al Hamlawi had opened the scoring.

As ever under the hostile and aggressive management of Jose Bordalas, Getafe have been as tedious to watch as can be, having scored just four goals in their opening eight games in La Liga thus far.

Rayo Vallecano preview: Protesting Rayo

Due to immense frustration and anger at the running of the club, supporter protests ensured that Rayo Vallecano’s clash with Athletic Club was abandoned early on upon their return to Vallecas last weekend.

They had started their season playing at Butarque due to Vallecas having been deemed unsafe but, despite all that as well as the departure of Inigo Perez to Villarreal, Rayo have remained competitive in La Liga this season.

Getafe team news: Loads of injuries

Getafe have signed Dani Carvajal and are close to Jadon Sancho but they have plenty of fresh injuries for this one such as Zaid Romero, Andres Garcia, Orel Mangala, Ramon Terrats and Enes Unal.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): David Soria; Djene, Sazonov, Sebastian Boselli; Kiko Femenia, Gudelj, Mario Martin, Johan Mojica; Alberto Risco; Martin Satriano, Borja Mayoral

Unavailable: Uche (Injured), Juanmi (Injured)

Questionable: Romero (Injured), Andres Garcia (Injured), Mangala (Injured), Ramon Terrats (Injured), Unal (Injured)

Rayo Vallecano team news: Fresh injuries

Rayo have some fresh injury issues for this one as Luiz Felipe has picked up another issue alongside Romania international right-back Andrei Ratiu.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Audero; Balliu, Lejeune, Sadick, Adria Pedrosa; Pablo Diaz, Ciss, Unai Lopez; Jorge de Frutos, Sergio Camello, Alvaro Garcia

Unavailable: Augusto Batalla (Injured)

Questionable: Luiz Felipe (Injured), Ratiu (Injured)

Getafe vs Rayo Vallecano prediction

Benat San Jose has continued to get Rayo playing in quite a fun, albeit profligate, way since the departure of Inigo Perez to Villarreal and there is a feeling that they could still find a way out of trouble on the pitch, albeit uncertainty remains off it. That profligacy is going to cost them here, most likely, against the obdurate Getafe and a low-scoring contest seems very likely in the Community of Madrid.

Getafe vs Rayo Vallecano tip: Under 2.5 goals
