Auckland FC vs Melbourne City prediction

Whilst Auckland FC may be the A-League holders, they will still look different this season following the departure of their victorious head coach Steve Corica, who left to join Japanese club Yokohama F Marinos. Pedro Moreira was appointed as Corica’s replacement and it remains to be soon as to the effect that will have on this championship winning squad.

Melbourne City are running it back with Aurelio Vidmar and they are nicely placed for another finals series push. Whilst they’ve been dealt a difficult hand to start, Melbourne won’t be easy to break down and it may take time for Moreira to really put his stamp down on Auckland offensively. With that in mind, consider backing under 3.5 goals to be scored.

Auckland FC vs Melbourne City tip: Under 3.5 goals
