Macarthur vs Perth Glory prediction

Sasa Ognenovski will lead Macarthur this season after he was appointed following the mutual termination of previous head coach Mile Sterjovski’s contract. His side are at home to begin his reign, with Perth Glory the visitors. Perth won just eight of their 26 A-League fixtures last season in what was a poor campaign.

Neither of these two clubs will strike much fear into each other from a defensive perspective and they’ll each be chomping at the bit to get out there. It should be a blood-and-thunder type of contest with a lot of action and chances to score, especially on the side of Macarthur. Regardless of whom comes out on top, a smart play may be to back over 2.5 goals across 90 minutes.

Macarthur vs Perth Glory tip: Over 2.5 goals
