Celje vs Salzburg prediction

Salzburg returned to Austria on the back of a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Levski Sofia, but Italian giants AC Milan proved far too strong for them in the second round of league phase fixtures. With three points from a possible six, Danny Rohl’s side now look to get back to winning ways against Celje, who are still without a point.

It’s been a tough campaign so far for the Slovenian champions, who were unsurprisingly beaten by Bayer Leverkusen before suffering a very disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Omonia. While this isn’t expected to be a high-scoring game, with neither side looking particularly potent offensively, Salzburg may just have that extra strength in depth to tip them over the edge.

Celje vs Salzburg tip: Salzburg to win and under 3.5 goals
