OFI Crete vs CSKA Sofia prediction
This is just OFI Crete’s ninth season in European competition. The Greek islanders finished seventh in the Greek Super League last season, under the management of Christos Kontis, but they qualified for the UEFA Europa League by winning the Greek Cup for just the second time in their history.
CSKA Sofia started their European campaign by defeating Derry City in the first qualifying round of this competition before a surprise penalty shootout victory against Qarabag. In the third qualifying round, the Bulgarians then managed to overcome Maccabi Tel-Aviv, despite losing the second-leg 3-1 at home.
CSKA Sofia have been strong on the road in Europe this season and the inexperience of OFI Crete may well benefit them again here in this one.
