NEC vs Bodo/Glimt prediction

Having achieved their highest ever finish in the Eredivisie last season, finishing third, NEC Nijmegen are a tie away from reaching the league phase of the UEFA Champions League after they overcame Greek giants Olympiacos after extra-time in the third qualifying round last week.

Kjetil Knutsen remains in charge of Bodo/Glimt after they managed to qualify for the knockout play-off round with wins against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid before hammering eventual Italian champions Internazionale. They were eventually knocked out by Sporting CP, despite winning the first-leg of that round of 16 tie by three goals to nil in the Arctic Circle.

Bodo are good fun to watch, as was again the case in their 6-5 aggregate defeat of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the third qualifying round and both teams scoring seems a decent bet for this first-leg at Gofferstadion.

NEC vs Bodo/Glimt tip: Both teams to score
