FC Twente were beaten by Ferencvaros in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. The Dutch outfit then managed to comfortably overcome Dunajska Streda in the third qualifying round of this competition with a 9-3 aggregate win.
Qarabag reached the knockout play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League this season but eventually lost their grip on the Azeri title for the first time in over 15 years and they have significantly regressed but edged past Dynamo Kyiv last week.
Qarabag will remain a threat with some fast attackers on the counter-attack but Twente have to remain firm favourites for this one with their home advantage in the first-leg.
