Since returning from the break for FIFA World Cup 2026, the Philadelphia Union have been much-improved but still remain third-from-bottom in the Eastern Conference. They managed another good win at the weekend as they defeated New York City by three goals to two.
Despite the passing of his father, captain Lionel Messi did play and provided the assist for Telasco Segovia in Inter Miami’s 4-1 hammering at the hands of Nashville in Tennessee the other day. The Floridians had been closing the gap on Nashville but now sit second and five points adrift of them at the top of the Eastern Conference.
This should be quite an entertaining watch with good form combining with home advantage for Philly against an Inter Miami side that need to respond here.
