Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Sabah prediction

Israeli champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva have produced some surprise victories. They overcame Icelandic champions Vikingur Reykjavik in the second qualifying round, despite losing the first-leg in Reykjavik, before they then defeated Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda by three goals to nil on aggregate in the third qualifying round.

Azeri champions Sabah pipped Qarabag, who reached the knockout play-off round of the UEFA Champions League, to their domestic title last season. Sabah began their UEFA Champions League campaign with victories against The New Saints and Kuopion Palloseura before hammering Danish champions Aarhus in Baku last week.

Sabah struggled away from home with a 2-1 loss in Denmark but this is on neutral territory and so they will be confident of ensuring a nervy but low-scoring contest in this first-leg.

Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Sabah tip: Under 2.5 goals
