Mjallby vs Salzburg prediction

After winning the Swedish Allsvenskan last season, Mjallby are struggling in the 2026 campaign. In Europe, they managed to beat the Lincoln Red Imps in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League before then succumbing to a 4-1 aggregate loss to Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava.

Red Bull Salzburg finished third in the Austrian Bundesliga last season but will be expected to be a lot better this time around following the appointment of former Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl. Salzburg managed to see off a Pafos comeback to beat the Cypriots in the third qualifying round last week.

The form of Bosnia-Herzegovina international striker Haris Tabakovic should give Salzburg a chance in any game and the form of Mjallby should ensure that they come through this tie anyway.

Mjallby vs Salzburg tip: Salzburg to win & under 3.5 goals
