Madison Keys will be a strong favourite against France’s Varvara Gracheva.
The Australian Open champion had a solid run to the quarter-finals in Madrid last time out and reached the same stage in Rome last year.
The American will be aiming to keep pushing on in her stellar 2025 so far and although Gracheva had a decent surge to the round of 16 in Rouen, the world number 65 doesn’t have the same weapons as an in-form Keys.
Gracheva defeated Ajla Tomljanovic 6-3 6-4 in the first round but the fifth seed will be a step too far.
