Luca Van Assche vs Lorenzo Musetti prediction

Luca Van Assche advanced to his third tour-level quarter-final of the season after coming from a set down to beat Valentin Vacherot. The Frenchman, who won his first ATP Tour title at the Estoril Open earlier this year, struggled at the start of the match but fought back to win 2-6 6-4 6-4 after two hours and six minutes.

He will face Lorenzo Musetti next. The two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist continued his progress with a straight sets win over teenager Moise Kouame. The 17-year-old had beaten Lorenzo Sonego in round one and challenged Musetti throughout, but the Italian conceded just one break point on his way to a 6-4 6-4 victory after an hour and 50 minutes.

Van Assche does actually lead the head-to-head 1-0 after a surprise five set win over Musetti at the 2024 Australian Open. Musetti has been impressive so far, and he should have too much for his opponent.
