Terence Atmane vs Mattia Bellucci prediction

Terence Atmane won his first tour-level match since August after a straight sets victory over Rinky Hijikata in the first-round of the Almaty Open. The Frenchman was not broken on serve, conceding just the one break point across the entire match. The first set was competitive, with Atmane edging ahead on a tiebreak, but he raced clear in the second to win 7-6 (5) 6-2 after one hour and 22 minutes.

He will now face Mattia Bellucci, following the Italian’s win over Tomas Martin Etcheverry. Bellucci, who won a Challenger event in Jinan just a few days earlier, extended his winning streak to six matches with a 7-6 (5) 2-6 6-4 victory. 

Atmane does lead the head-to-head 1-0 after defeating Bellucci in the qualifying rounds of the Australian Open last year. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old is in strong form at the moment, and he will be confident of pulling off another victory.
