Gauthier Onclin vs Jan-Lennard Struff prediction

Gauthier Onclin enters the tournament as a lucky loser. The Belgian was beaten by Clement Chidekh in the final qualifying stage. He does have a tour-level victory to his name this season, at the Stuttgart Open. Furthermore, he has won five titles in 2026, including two on the Challenger Tour. Onclin is currently ranked 178 in the world.

He faces Jan-Lennard Struff in the round-of-16. The German defeated Marcos Giron in the previous stage of the tournament. Struff recovered after going an early break down and saved eight out of nine break point opportunities overall, winning 7-6 (3) 7-6 (3) after one hour and 33 minutes on court.

Onclin is familiar with indoor conditions and home support should help him compete, but Struff possesses the more imposing serve and considerably greater ATP Tour experience. His aggressive returning could also expose Onclin’s second serve, which proved vulnerable against Chidekh in qualifying.

Gauthier Onclin vs Jan-Lennard Struff tip: Jan-Lennard Struff to win 2-0
