Marie Bouzkova set up a round of 16 clash with Anastasia Zakharova thanks to a dominant first tournament victory.

The Czech was too solid as she edged out Kamilla Rakhimova 6-4 6-4. 

It earns the world number 26 a shot at world number 111 Zakharova, who replaced second seed Iga Swiatek in the draw.

Bouzkova had lost all four of her previous encounters with Swiatek in straight sets, so this is a real boost and offers her a chance to make a decent run in the draw.

Zakharova has only won one main draw match since the summer and Marie has been really consistent, so we only see the Czech coming through in this one.
