Lilli Tagger vs Han Shi prediction

Lilli Tagger raced into the quarter-finals of the Guangzhou Open after another dominant victory. The Austrian stormed past Venus Williams in the first-round and backed that up with another 6-2 6-2 win over Magda Linette. Tagger completed the win after just 67 minutes on court, and she is looking to add another title after WTA success at the Prague Open during the summer. 

She will face Han Shi for a place in the last four. The Chinese player produced a solid display to beat Dayana Yastremska in straight sets. The 21-year-old won 7-5 6-4 and is through to her first ever tour-level quarter-final. 

Both players arrive without dropping a set, but Tagger has been considerably more dominant, losing just eight games across her two matches. The teenager has also held serve throughout the tournament, whereas Shi has been broken on five separate occasions. I expect Tagger to have too much for her opponent.
