Vicente Luque vs Kevin Holland prediction
Vicente Luque (23-10-1) makes his first appearance of 2025 and he will be hoping to build on his 52-second submission win over Themba Gorimbo last time out.
Luque had been going through one of the most challenging spells of his career with three losses in his four previous bouts, but the context around those losses had to be considered. He was facing some of the best in the division in Belal Muhammad and Joaquin Buckley so that goes some way to explaining some of the losses in recent years.
He now takes on Kevin Holland (27-13 with one no contest) who like Luque, is always involved in entertaining fights.
After fighting three times last year, Holland has already had two bouts in 2025 and he is arguably he most active fighter in the UFC right now.
That may come at a price however as he has lost four of his last six fights but he is coming off an impressive and dominant win over Gunnar Nelson last time out.
This bout against Luque cannot fail to excite and it has Fight of the Night candidate written all over it. It is however incredibly difficult to predict with either outcome possible and any method of victory quite feasible.
We have to side with Holland in this one. We have some concerns around Luque just showing some signs of slowing down a touch while Holland just keeps going. We think he can overpower him here and pick up another win.
Prediction: Kevin Holland to win
