Quillan Salkilld vs Yanal Ashmouz prediction

Australia’s Quillan Sakilld (8-1) returns to action just four months since his UFC debut where he produced a Performance of the Night display in knocking out Anshul Jubli in just 19 seconds at UFC 312. It was some way to enter the promotion after he earned his shot via Dana White’s Contender Series back in September and he is currently on an eight-fight winning streak.

At UFC 316, Sakilld takes on Yanal Ashmouz (8-1) who is looking to make it back-to-back wins in the UFC for the first time. He comes off a unanimous decision win over Trevor Peek last September and the 30-year-old Israeli will be hoping to take his record in the UFC to 3-1 with a win here.

That fight in September was Ashmouz’s only fight in virtually two years so he will be looking to get active now and build some momentum.

That may be easier said that done against Salkilld however who is on a tear of his own. He has been extremely active and is looking better with every fight. We are tipping him to keep that going here and make it nine in a row.

Prediction: Quillan Salkilld to win
